Ranting alone

I am sitting at my dorm's reception/front desk now, basically doing nothing. Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code is resting on the left of my laptop and has been laying there since the past 120 minutes - not touched.

Still excited that there ain't no classes for the next couple weeks but I'm already feeling bored trying to earn some bucks, working at my dorm while no one is around. You can literally dance along the doorsteps and no human being is gonna care - but I'm not gonna do that.

Well, the break has been treating me great thus far. Nothing much exciting happened yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to the 5-day getaway this coming Thursday. Yea man I'm gonna leave St. Cloud for awhile, grab some cities air and dirt before coming back for New Year.

Something that I have been looking to accomplish this break, besides finishing up Dan Brown's work before New Year, is to dwell myself into more writings. I sense the need to keep writing so to keep my inspirations and ideas flowing. It does help to avoid writer's block when it comes to more rhetorical assignments next semester, if not keeping for myself an archive of written articles for the school paper.

And so this is just the beginning. Please alert me if there's any freelance writing jobs out there. I'm accepted by Demand Studio but their topics ain't what I am really into. So now I'm just waiting to hear from Suite101. Whatever it is, I would still love to write if your papers/magazines/publishers need ten extra typing fingers.

Till then, have a good one.
