Woa, that looks pacted with inventive action sequences. My favourite part will be the times that Captain is throwing his shield towards goons. So far, looks better and better and Jonston has done a great job capturing the film's 1940s athmosphere. I am really looking forward to this.

This looks that is going to be a great fun adventure. Hugo Weaving was born to play Red Skull (the make up is absolutely brilliant and faithful to the source material) and these posters are nicely done. Can't wait for August!
The Avengers: starts shooting today!
That's it! You heard it. Marvel's biggest bet in cinematic history begins today. Under the directing and writing duties of Joss Whedon, "The avengers" starts shooting today. Why though is such a big deal? Besides the fact it will include tones - i imagine- visual effects, i think it will be a joy to see on screen the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Hawkeye and

Here is a recent picture of RED SKULL in the upcoming film "Captain America: the first avenger". I think he looks ace. The actor beneath the heavy make-up is Hugo Weaving (The matrix trilogy, Lord of the rings, The wolfman).

This is the Red Skull from the upcoming film "The first avenger: Captain America". The small tv spot looks old fashioned with some good shots and Evans as the titular hero seems to be good. However, the scene that deserved my attention was the appearance of the Red Skull played from the always impressive Hugo Weaving. I think this one is going to be at least decent to watch and so far all things indicate a positive outcome. Problem is the director of "The wolfman" and "Jurassic Park III" is behind it. Can he make good and solid actions scenes like Bay and Sommers? Can he make the film fun to watch like what Favreau did with "iron man"? I am just sayin. We will see summer 2011.
