I enjoy how most Boys were excited seeing me appear at the premise yet were shy to talk to me. Oh, I see how fun this next three months is going to be; we have so much to bond.
I was sitting in Mr.Chan's Bible study class this afternoon, listening to him teaching the Form 1 Boys about prayers. I find it fascinating to "relearn" what was taught to me a dozen years ago, only finding it fresh to notice how some terms we used back then were switched to today's language.
Don't get it? For instance, I was taught a prayer was conversation with God; today, a prayer is illustrated as "hotline" to reach God and Mr. Chan referred to these prayers as "wireless" connections to communicate with God. I'm just amazed how the times have swifted and kids today are not the same with the era before. What a perfect moment for the time-honored saying: those were the days!
I trust that more great things are installed for the rest of this summer and I anticipate to encounter these thrilling things to take place. For now, I will roll on with teaching the senior section communications award and serving in the year-end musical planning committee.
Sweet childish days, that were long as long... As twenty days are now. - William WordsworthHave a great weekend. Cheers!
