Pro-cra-sti-na-tion seems like it is a weekend attack.
I really can't focus and start writing the book review that I am suppose to hand in by next week. Dead. I have definitely granted myself way too much freedom to be idle. Realized that my mind is not working as one with my body today.
Thank heaven that I still have this page that I can turn to when all else seems too bored for this typical Saturday. Wait, Saturdays used to be my busiest day of the week when I was still in the Brigade last two years. I should be grateful that I have more hours to myself, loitering around, doing nothing productive.
So, what are you doing, folks? If you are reading from regions outside of the United States, PM me at my email address so we can chat and be friends. I am looking to make as many friends from all around the world as possible. Well, basically everyone who shares the same passion in ranting via words and sentences are welcomed to join my fellowship.
OK, to reward your tolerance of my nonsense till this very paragraph, I'm embedding something I find very useful: The Secret to Steve Job's Presentations. Wait wait, don't frown. It is not your typical "lecture" slides but a guide that I believe will be very handy, especially to all of us who will at some point give a presentation. I followed the "tips" while making my case study presentation that I gave at a U.S. regional (midwest) RA conference just last month, and I was awarded the top three best presentations among 90 teams. I am seeing difference in my powerpoint slides nowadays. Hence I highly recommend you to check this out.
Right, now you have had the carrot, it's time you share this piece with your friends!
