Ciara dropped by label?

It is no secret that Basic Instinct seems to have been the quite engaging performer’s “make it or break it” album. With the album’s poor reception after 2 singles tanking and 1 doing moderately well on Urban charts, Ciara’s days at Jive records seemed to have been numbered.  After all, this is the 2nd occasion where the artist hasn’t delivered when it came down to album sales. Word is that Ciara’s single “Turn it up” which features label mate Usher has been removed from All Access. It was geared up to be the next single off “Instinct”, set to impact radio in March. This surely is an indicator that the label might have a change of heart in terms of promoting the album, never the less continuing their relationship with the Atlanta based singer. In Ciara‘s 7 year career she’s managed to have sold over 5 million alums worldwide and acquire 8 top 10 hot 100 singles. By all means we do wish her well in her future endeavors, regardless of the turnout.  Such promise shouldn’t be wasted.
