It seems like long term friends/music collaborators, Timbaland and Ginuwine may soon be able to see past some of their "differences". According to Timbaland (in the interview he gave "BET"), he's willing to bury the hacket. Recently last year, Ginuwine spoke out on his feelings towards Timbaland (who seem to be more hands on with his career when it came down to production) and made claims of how he was abandoned once he started producing hits for Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado and Madonna. It's been said on record that Ginuwine didn't feel that Timbaland gave him the same experimental type of music he did Timberlake and he implied that Timbaland was more interested in expanding on his sound with Justin, providing him better and more futuristic production. Here's the message Timbaland was sending about reconciling with the R&B crooner:
"I know how he might feel. He might think that we abandoned him," says Tim. "We never would abandon him. He’s like a brother. But when you get everybody else, mix different managers...it changes every dynamic."
"I'd work with Ginuwine because I love Ginuwine. I’d work for him, not for the money, not to put a record out. Just for old time’s sake. Let’s do it for music’s sake. Let’s do it for what we were. Let’s do it for our friendship...our brotherhood," Tim said. But even though he's still willing to let bygones be bygones, Timbaland has some conditions. "I don’t want nobody in the room when I work with him this time. I don’t want no record people. I don’t want to say it’s coming out. I want to just do it, just because Ginuwine loves music."
