Happy Chinese New Year! I haven't really had the chance to celebrate this traditional Chinese festival for the second year in a row already. It's beginning to to feel detached from the Chinese root and living a totally different identity. However, I am glad that the Malaysians here are doing something to recognize this home-culture. So now I am writing from a pot-luck party at our very own hall.
Besides, I am also very thrilled that I can have some breathing space over this weekend. Things seem to get back on track and the train of life is travelling at the right speed back again. February is going to be a month full of assignments, work, and head-cracking time (I suppose).
The Ad Creative class that I am taking with Dr. Mark Eden is killing a billion of my brain cells but I am definitely grateful for him because he helped me to develop what most creatives called critical thinking skills. A good art director & copywriter think of ways that "hook" their audience, not simply gimmicks that last only within that 30s spot. I hope I can think more strategically after this course.
OK, back to mua food. Have a prosperous year ahead, folks!
