'Em back! Fall retreat was just so cool. Met new friends, but most importantly is being able to meet God face to face again.
In many ways God spoke to me; Friday morning was extraordinary because we were all given a two-full-hour to personally spend time with God. I read a few chapters on the secret of listening, and guess what, God spoke to me in between those lines. The experience was just so wonderful. I can't describe how peaceful it was to be in the presence of the Lord.

Chris, the new-ChiAlpha-director-tobe, spoke to us about prayer counseling and all of us had a chance to open up to our peers as well as to pray for one another. It was a good time of bonding and I treasure the friendship we built over the last 3 days.
Aside from all these, this retreat was memorable because I bike rode for the first time in my life. Yes, you are right, I am such a city boy that my parents restricted me from biking when I was young (makes me wonder how spoiled I am). Thanks to Kennedy, Hola, and Erik, I finally took the first step to petal and cycled around the trail within an hour.
Life is good when we put God first. Period.

Just as I woke up to check my facebook account the second morning, I was bombarded with the awesome news that all twelve of my juniors in the Boys' Brigade passed their Junior Gold Award and was presented during the Founder's Day service two days ago. I can't tell how excited I was and how much I wanted to be with them during that once-in-the-lifetime moment. I am also glad for being appreciated of the time and commitment put into this project. God has proved that with hard work comes fruitful reward. This will be the principle that I will hold on to for the rest of my life.
So much good stuff is happening and I believe it is not gonna stop right here. I finished two of my papers tonight, pretty amazing, because I thought this retreat was going to take up most of my time for this break and that I may not complete these papers on time. See how God works...amazingly.

Goash, I miss BB!
