There's no place like, Home.

LRT route, saloon's location, friends' phone numbers, and so many things that were once on my finger tips now had become strangers to me.

Still, I am glad to be home! Free meals, free internet, free transportation, unlimited resources, free satelite TV services...Ha! There's really no place like home!

Everything is fine thus far besides the killing weather condition. According to my mum, this kind of weather is considered the best compared to the earlier weeks because of the recent rain. Yet, I couldn't stand the humidity; I can feel the heat that rose from the ground and got stuck around my face. The air-conditioner is now my best friend.

Just a recap, I met some of my relatives last night after coming back from the airport. Had a really delicious chinese style dinner with them. Passed them some gifts and chit-chtted a little about U.S. life. Amazingly, I had adjusted well, better than I thought. I haven't experienced very much jetlag - slept at 1 a.m. and woke up 1 p.m. this morn...afternoon.

Thanks to my dad, I enjoyed my favorite "tabao-ed" noodles as brunch. Went out to shop for some necessities and a phone SIM card in the evening at Times Square and had a meeting with some Boys Brigade officers till late night. I am all in for the National BB Pesta Competitions!!

I'm also very grateful that God has provided me a lot of my needs since my arrival to Malaysia. Every single thing was made possible because of Him. He has even provided me with a job/industrial training offering from a advertising/branding agency called the Creative Thumbprint. It is a good opportunity because it is related to my field of studies - mass communications. I have yet to confirm my status because I want to double check my holiday schedules . However, I definitely see it as a chance to add on some real-world job experience to my resume.

Also, I will be meeting my long-missed BB Boys tomorrow at the band practice. It has been nine months since I last heard a note from them. I am sure they are preparing hard for the national band competition at the coming Pesta in Penang state. I will play a role in assisting the singing team for the national singing competition. Though it is really a task that requires tremendous efforts, I see it as a challenge to improve. I am sure we can come up with something realy fun and powerful with a team of talented individuals.

Well, I am sure greater things are yet to come. My plans or resolutions for this summer are:

1. Complete all three online courses with good grades.
2. Assist 1st KL in their operations adn especially preparing the Boys for the coming BB Pesta.
3. Get an industrial training/working experience
4. Spend quality time with friends and family.
5. Be good. Build a stronger relationship with God.
6. Earn some bucks.
7. Lose some weight.

Nonetheless, I miss St. Cloud a lot, and the friendly people there, especially the Martin's.

Really, thank God for Facebook. To all the folks out there, whether you are in the states or Malaysia, have fun this summer!
