Love it or hate it, we all have no authority over time. God designed the universe in the manner that everyone has the same amount of time each day, though some may have longer hours in the day or other wise.
Yet. We all have control over how we want to use time. I've once heard in a TV program that a character said, "Don't have time? Make time!" Well, very true. Everybody have their own business to mind each day.
Besides classes, studies and rest, what do we do with the remaining time we have?
I talked to the director of Atwood Memorial Center, Margaret Vos regarding the new coffee shop that was opened Monday at the East Longe of AMC, which has create a bit of woo-haas in SCSU.
I vividly remembered she said that "this is what college is all about, you hang out, and socialize; you meet people." Coming to think about my current lifestyle, I am a total ani-socialist! I realized how much I've become contented to my work and studies. I barely have time to just hang out. Oh, if the half-an-hour-lunch-break-at-Burger-Kings counts.
I thank God for the people in my life. I thank Him for friends from the Christian Fell0wships that I join as well as comrades from many parts of the world. Still, I don't live like a college guy right now. I don't talk very much to my roommate; I don't join any study group; I don't hang around the kitchen with most malaysians; I barely go to gym with friends; I do them all by myself. [Loner!]
I think I just need to make some adjustments to how I'm living right now. Sooner or later my mouth is gonna stink if I don't start chatting with friends.
Yawn. It is 10:42p.m. Just attend the LGBT film series and interviewed some of the audience for my story. I guess it's time to head back to my room and start working on my class papers [loner..echoing...].
At least, I felt good when I'm in Atwood. God has been so graceful that there's always computer(s) available to use each time I'm there. And I get better inspiration writing in such a quiet and big space. My room, is simply overcrowded with comfy stuff.
This post is pure venting. Thanks for your time if you did read till this point. But my main idea is that God is in control.
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? -Matthew 6:27
God reminded me not to be worldly.
Ok, Hakunamatata! See y' folks!
