The Fool has come. Behold.

I just want to do a quick update here while taking a PB & J sandwich in the new campus coffee shop.

As everyone, I supposed, is splinting to finish up this final lap in the race of this semester. All assignments, projects, presentations, term papers, etc. are due soon. Many tests are coming up too. Definitely this is the busiest month of all.

I will only have 3 final examinations out of the 6 classes that I am undertaking right now. However, there are a lot more papers to be done. I pray that God will give me more energy and wisdom to complete them.

Well, life is good. Merciful God has been gracefully granting me my needs. I have been working on my class schedule for the coming semesters - Summer (online classes) and Fall 2010. I wonder why I just have the energy and passion when it comes to planning and mapping my education.

Today, I looked at the "degree route" that I've set up for myself, working towards graduation, I felt so fruitful having done that. I am also looking at grad schools, thinking if I should do a three- or four semesters Master of Science in Mass Communication here in St. Cloud or to work for a year first, then apply into Columbia School of Journalism, doing Ph. D directly.

I just don't want to stop studying but I don't have the financial ability. Well, I believe God will provide. Amen!

I am looking forward to returning home, hanging around with my friends in Malaysia and going to places that I missed so much. By the way, St. Cloud has merely no life when it comes to entertainment in town.

OK, gonna cover three concerts this week for the papers, never have I been so attentive to the concerts on campus. Well, I'm so gonna grab somebody to go along.

I'm looking for a great week ahead, I pray you readers, too, have a good one.

Here in the death of Christ I live.

What more can I ask?

New Series STAR WARS Animation

New Series STAR WARS Animation
Star Wars is an epic space opera franchise conceived by George Lucas. The first film in the franchise was originally released on May 25, 1977, by 20th Century Fox, and became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon, spawning two immediate sequels, released at three-year intervals. Sixteen years after the release of the trilogy's final film, the first in a new prequel trilogy of films was released, again released at three-year intervals, with the final film released on May 19, 2005. As of 2008, the overall box office revenue generated by the six Star Wars films has totalled approximately $4.3 billion, making it the third-highest-grossing film series, behind only the James Bond and Harry Potter films. The Star Wars film series has spawned other media including books, television series, video games, and comic books. These supplements to the film trilogies comprise the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and have resulted in significant development of the series' fictional universe. These media kept the franchise going in the interim between the film trilogies. In 2008, Star Wars: The Clone Wars was released to theaters as the first ever worldwide theatrical Star Wars film outside of the main trilogies. It was the franchise's first animated film, and was intended as an introduction to the Expanded Universe series of the same name, a 3D CGI animated series based on a previous 2D animated series of a similar name. Animated series Following the success of the Star Wars films and their subsequent merchandising, several animated television series have been created for the younger fan base: * Star Wars: Droids, also known as Droids, which premiered in September 1985, focused on the travels of R2-D2 and C-3P0 as they shift through various different owners/masters, and vaguely fills in the gaps between the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. * Star Wars: Ewoks and colloquially as The Ewoks, was simultaneously released in September 1985 and focused on the adventures of Wicket and various other recognizable Ewok characters from the original trilogy in the years leading up to Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. * Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon micro-series created by Genndy Tartakovsky, which aired on Cartoon Network from November 2003 to March 2005. * Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series continuation of the animated movie of the same name, which has been airing on Cartoon Network since October 2008.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms Cartoon Animation

Romance of the Three Kingdoms Cartoon Animation
Romance of the Three Kingdoms (simplified Chinese: traditional Chinese: pinyin: sānguó yǎnyì), written by Luo Guanzhong in the 14th century, is a Chinese historical novel based upon events in the turbulent years near the end of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms era of China, starting in 169 and ending with the reunification of the land in 280. It is acclaimed as one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature, with a grand total of 800,000 words, nearly a thousand characters, most of them historical, in 120 chapters. Romance of the Three Kingdoms recorded stories of a Buddhist monk called Pujing, who was a friend of Guan Yu. Pujing made his first appearance during Guan's arduous journey of crossing five passes and slaying six generals, in which he warned Guan of an assassination plot. As the novel was written in the Ming Dynasty, more than 1000 years after the era, these stories showed that Buddhism had long been a significant ingredient of the mainstream culture and may not be historically accurate. Luo Guanzhong preserved these descriptions from earlier versions of the novel to support his portrait of Guan Yu as a faithful man of virtue. Guan Yu was since then respectfully addressed as "Lord Guan" or Guan Gong.

Winnie The Pooh Cartoon Animation Series

Winnie The Pooh Cartoon Animation Series
Winnie-the-Pooh, commonly shortened to Pooh Bear or simply Pooh, and once referred to as Edward Bear, is a fictional bear created by A. A. Milne. The first collection of stories about the character was the book Winnie-the-Pooh (1926), and this was followed by The House at Pooh Corner (1928). Milne also included a poem about the bear in the children’s verse book When We Were Very Young (1924) and many more in Now We Are Six (1927). All four volumes were illustrated by E. H. Shepard.

The hyphens in the character's name were later dropped when The Walt Disney Company adapted the Pooh stories into a series of Winnie the Pooh featurettes that became one of the company's most successful franchises worldwide: see Winnie the Pooh (Disney).

The Pooh stories have been translated into many languages, notably including Alexander Lenard's Latin translation, Winnie ille Pu, which was first published in 1958, and, in 1960, became the only Latin book ever to have been featured on the New York Times Best Seller List.

On 19 February 2007 Disney lost a court case in Los Angeles which ruled their "misguided claims" to dispute the licensing agreements with Slesinger, Inc. were unjustified, but a federal ruling of 28 September 2009, again from Judge Florence-Marie Cooper, determined that the Slesinger family had granted all trademark and copyright rights to Disney, although Disney must pay royalties for all future use of the characters. Both parties have expressed satisfaction with the outcome.

In Christ Alone

When things go so smoothly in life - job is stable, relationship is good, we achieve what we aim - we tend to forget what God has done for us.

Today was a great day. Because of the "deal" that was made between Tracey, Sam and I, I attended Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) after my regular Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship meeting. It was a totally different kind of service in CRU, I was in awe by the number of people attending CRU. I will definitely be joining them again next Thursday.

After CRU, I joined the crusaders at Calvary church to just hang out (just like the Chi Alphas hanging out at Good News). That was when God spoke to me through a girl. The conversation that was started between this girl and I was impromptu.

We started sharing our "roads to Christianity" soon after we introduced ourselves to each other. I shared first and it was all about how I came to know Christ, getting baptized, and so on. And then this girl spoke. She shared about her life that was, to me, like a drama that could have only happened on TV. Growing up "without the love of parents," she said, was really painful for her. She was abused and neglected since young. And her life was just so miserable with her biological parents cheating on each other, and then she was sent to a foster parent, having to separate with her siblings, just so much.

As I was listening, I started realizing how fortunate I am. I grew up in a family that has love. I don't want to feel sorry for this girl. It is because I know that God has saved her. She had came so far, got to know God as her heavenly Father, a real parent to her. She is really a strong girl.

I kept thinking about this. I was so affected by her story. It was just mixed feelings. While Tracey was sending me home at the end of the day, this song was played in her car. I just think how true it is: "In Christ alone, my hope is found; He is my light, my strength, my song."

So, I youtubed it and I just want to share it with you here. God bless you, beloved readers.

Politics no more

Wonder why but there's just so many incidents related to politics happened around me this semester. I'm not a political person. I believe in no politics. I just couldn't handle any of the political issues.

Today I was freaked out by the pop quiz in my Journalism class. My good old professor gave 25 random questions, all based on the U.S. current political issues. I totally screwed the quiz. I think I was only able to answer 5 of them.

What eased me was that my professor told me I still stand as an A- student in that class. I *seriously* hope he will curve the class grading for this course!

In my opinion, politics should never had existed. I think the fore-founders of the States did a major mistake by not incorporating Christianity into the Constitution. When politicians today are debating over issues, many times they are not referring to any morality. Republicans, democrats, everything else, they are all the same to me.

I don't actually care about how politicians decide things should operate in a country. I believe that the leaders of the country should be followers of Christ. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these thing shall be added unto you."

No point debating over issues when the fact is that who are going to get the most benefit out of it. Those are greed, not "for the sake of the country."

What happen to the "So help me God" statement that is traditionally said after taking the presidential oath? God should be the ultimate ruler, not man. Man can only be the tools of God.

Disclaimer, I based no actual facts in any parts of this piece of writing. All of it are my opinion.

That night.

Immortal darkness covers this hemisphere of world,
Nothing, but the noise of the people somewhere out there,
Shouting words don't make no sense.
Only if they weren't drunk tonight.
My soul rest upon the plain-white screen,
Not knowing which next couple pages would worth the visit.
In the nets of cyber I struggle,
And lost...
Concealing into subconsciousness.

Roaring inside,
Easing outside.
Very-so discomforted,
In the mist of wondering if the
Stars are punished by the dark sky, hence
Invisible to mankind. And
To the best of me tries to
Emancipate self-deviancy,
Devoting life, to life.

One of the movies that i am looking forward to see. Plus it is going to be 3D. The cast looks very interesting. Liam Neeson as Zeus? Awesome! Ralf Phienes as Hades? Sweet! But that dude from Terminator Salvation and Avatar is in it. At the beginning i like him but later he looks in every film the same. Can you please change your hairstyle? Or your accent? You are playing a greek person for

Green Zone has red alert!

After a lengthy week i decided to go and see "Green Zone". Now i love Paul Greengrass and his amazing camerawork. Besides that, he brings realism to films. For me the Bourne trilogy wasn't a masterpiece but it sure was an excellent example of brilliant filmaking, breathtaking stunts and a character which you could related to and sympathize. So after that successful trilogy what's next for Damon

When you say...

"Basically," what are the basics that you meant?
E.g. Basically, you just need to do this.

"It's like or I was like," what you trying to compare?
E.g. When she said she's pregnant, I was like, no way!

"O.K.," is it really okay?
E.g. OK, now we'll move on to the next chapter. OK, turn to page nine.

"Then," what is next?
E.g. Then I walked there, then he came.

"Actually," what is not actual? Do you normally fake things?
E.g. I actually want to go classes.

"Alright," do you really mean all right?
E.g. Alright, let's move on.
Don't say things you don't mean.
These are some examples of redundant words. Sometimes, I just can't stand how conversations are "polluted" by these words. Such words are painful for the ears.

Let's work together to defend the quality of our language!

Got time?

I'm just so awed that time could past so quickly and silently. Before I could sigh, it was already mid-March. April will creep in soon enough and then will come the time that I am on my way back to Malaysia for summer break (O.o) Yay!

Love it or hate it, we all have no authority over time. God designed the universe in the manner that everyone has the same amount of time each day, though some may have longer hours in the day or other wise.
Yet. We all have control over how we want to use time. I've once heard in a TV program that a character said, "Don't have time? Make time!" Well, very true. Everybody have their own business to mind each day.
Besides classes, studies and rest, what do we do with the remaining time we have?
I talked to the director of Atwood Memorial Center, Margaret Vos regarding the new coffee shop that was opened Monday at the East Longe of AMC, which has create a bit of woo-haas in SCSU.
I vividly remembered she said that "this is what college is all about, you hang out, and socialize; you meet people." Coming to think about my current lifestyle, I am a total ani-socialist! I realized how much I've become contented to my work and studies. I barely have time to just hang out. Oh, if the half-an-hour-lunch-break-at-Burger-Kings counts.

I thank God for the people in my life. I thank Him for friends from the Christian Fell0wships that I join as well as comrades from many parts of the world. Still, I don't live like a college guy right now. I don't talk very much to my roommate; I don't join any study group; I don't hang around the kitchen with most malaysians; I barely go to gym with friends; I do them all by myself. [Loner!]

I think I just need to make some adjustments to how I'm living right now. Sooner or later my mouth is gonna stink if I don't start chatting with friends.
Yawn. It is 10:42p.m. Just attend the LGBT film series and interviewed some of the audience for my story. I guess it's time to head back to my room and start working on my class papers [loner..echoing...].
At least, I felt good when I'm in Atwood. God has been so graceful that there's always computer(s) available to use each time I'm there. And I get better inspiration writing in such a quiet and big space. My room, is simply overcrowded with comfy stuff.

This post is pure venting. Thanks for your time if you did read till this point. But my main idea is that God is in control.
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? -Matthew 6:27

Mission Trip at Cibecue, Arizona.

This wasn't an ordinary spring break.

30 folks - ranged from 18 to 40 years of age - formed a troop and traveled down south with a common goal in their minds: to show others God's love.

Pre-trip
I came to know about this mission trip at "Sidestreet" event that was held in January. Miles Seppelt, the InterVasity Christian Fellowship campus staff, spoke to me about this and encouraged me to join the troop. Initially, I was reluctant. God moved me with the attractive scholarship that whosoever be the first four to sign up may receive some discount.

I took time to check them out one Wednesday in January. I then made up my mind that I really wanted to do this because I have never gone on a mission trip before. God is gracious that He granted me a $75 off the total cost of the trip.

Things went every smoothly since then. We were asked to form three main teams: Project team, kitchen team and Vacation Bible School (VBS) team. I joined the VBS team because I thought that handling kids was something that I'm good at.

Weeks after weeks, we met in the Alumni room. Bits and pieces we laid out the whole game plan for the trip.

The Ride

March 12, it was a sunny morning that turned windy in the afternoon. The troop embarked the bus at about 6p.m. and departed St. Cloud half an hour later. 36 hours in total and numerous stops we had through the journey from Minnesota-Iowa-Missouri-Kansas-Oklahoma-Texas-New Mexico- and finally Arizona. The ride was not as dreadful as I've expected. We did not know one another really well. Yet, sing-a-long session brought most of us together.

We arrived on Sunday morning, at Fountain of Living Waters church, and made it to the morning service conducted by Ps. Wayne.

The rest of the week was just phenomenal:

Project

I was in the "Goldfish" painting team. All in all we painted 2 houses in the week. The lady in the video below was the host for the first house that we've painted. I was so touched by her and her family. Like Miles mentioned before, "it is 60-70% poverty there, you won't believe that you're still in America when you are down there." Now I understand what that really meant. I seriously thank God for all that I have owned in my life right now. The Apaches community are friendly though. I enjoyed all my painting sessions there even though it was painful for my back and arm, the smiles on the Apaches faces encouraged me to move on.

VBS
The entire VBS team were very excited about getting the kids to come to church. On Monday, we headed out in the 2 "church vans" to the Apaches neighborhood to give out flyers to inform them about VBS. The church vans were the most "fantastic" vehicles I have ever ride on. Both of them had lost the side windows, one of the "Ferrari's" has its roof top ready to fly away anytime.

It was really a sort of experience. Now, I won't complain about my 20-year-old Honda Civic anymore.

The first day of VBS was total chaos. 30 kids from three- to 18 years old attended the bible school and we totally lost control of the situation. I can't remember how much I wanted to punish the kids by giving them push-ups like what I used to do with the boys in Boys' Brigade. They were just rough and rude. Nonetheless, we survived through the 2-hour VBS and got ourselves sat down and planned for the upcoming days.

The second the third day was rather good compared to Monday. I suggested that we split the younger kids from the older kids in order to have better disciplinary control. It worked. We were forced to divide our team into two and I was in the junior section.

The last day of VBS was combined with the Extravaganza party, in which we followed Jesus' example of feeding the 5000. Though there weren't 5000 Apaches, many turned up that evening. The entire troop took up different roles to make the Extravaganza a blast. Some grilled, some entertained and some controlled the situation (imagine 70 kids running around in the middle of the road). At the end of the party, Ps. Wayne led the Apaches in saying the sinners prayer and many came to accept God as their personal Lord and Savior.

Overall
I felt really blessed on this trip. Not only that I have made good friends, I felt the Lord working through each individuals to make this trip a successful one. Something extraordinary was that for a few days, I was able to experience all 4-seasons within a day, snow in the morning, windy in the afternoon, sunny in the evening and cold again at night. We were blamed to have brought over the snow all the way from Minnesota to Arizona. Ha!

Also, I love the people on this trip. They have so much passion for Christ and they have been the example for me in the entire week. They are also very fuzzy and friendly. I learned how to play many games, i.e. "Bunny-bunny" and "Big bottie." In return, I taught them some games that I used to play in BB. I have also showed some of them magic tricks.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12.

I was reminded of this verse over and over in this trip. God had used everyone on this trip to show love in one way or another. I am so proud to be a tool for God. Blessed be the name of the Lord. In all things we do, we do it in the name of Jesus. The most vivid memory I had for the trip was when I stood beside a little girl when she said the sinners prayer. I am just so touched by her purity and sincerity. Deep down I prayed that she will grow up to be the salt and light for the world.

Even though this week was really exhausting, this had certainly been the most memorable week ever of my life.

Legion .... of bullshit

Ok i know what you guys are thinking, why i committed this horrific crime. Well just for the record, it wasn't my fault. Mr Joe W should be held responsible for this. Now, you want to hear my thoughts. Here it goes.
The script is just bad. Not bad but truly bad. Zero explanations, multiple storylines that serve purpose at all and scenes so pointless you really start to wonder about the existence

The crazies-am i crazy that went to see the film or not?

Hm...sorry but this review will be really short. It was an average movie. Not too much splater, not too much gore, predicable scares, weird finale, solid cast and no boobies. Ok probably u think so far that i didn't like the movie. No i did. It was perfect to escape my really tense week. But i forgot almost the whole film after it ended.
The story is very simple. In an isolated-kinda- town of

Oscar predictions by me!

However believes that Avatar will win the best picture oscar doesn't know shit about movies or cinema. Through history academy has shown disrespect for the films of the fantasy, sci-fi or horror genre. Star wars, the dark knight, alien, terminator 2 and many more have been shadowed by small productions belonging into more "serious" genres.

When last year u had the ultimate comic hero masterpiece

Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

This is still a national-wide issue: Abortion, the pro-choice or pro-life debate.

If you did observe, you should have noticed my bright-red wrist band that I wear on my right arm. Oh yes, I stand for pro-life. Wait, before you decide to flip to the next page, thinking that I am “just another anti-abortion-ist,” read on and see if you have any comments on this issue.

I was seriously stunt by the statement written on Planned Parenthood’s Web site that says, “If you are pregnant, you have three options to think about – abortion, adoption, and parenting.” Oh my goodness. Parenting came last on the list.

With such advancement of birth control methods in the world today, there are still many who underwent unplanned pregnancy. Why so? Are people just so stubborn to think that they should “enjoy first, suffers later?”

You boys, be a man, do the right thing. If you really not want a child, use proper birth control! Of course, be reminded that not all birth control methods are 100% safe. So, even if you are using two condoms, be well-prepared that you might still be a dad. So, think twice-, three times, before you get your pants down.

Ladies, know your rights to speak up. Let your partner know what your plans are. If you really don’t want to get pregnant, do the proper ‘precautions,’ either you or your partner. Like mentioned, there isn’t a 100% for it.

Right now, I totally believe the saying “Planned Parenthood should be called Unplanned Parenthood.”

If parenthood is planned, why do abortion has to come into the picture? I don’t get it. If you really map your parenthood, you should be on your way preparing to be a dad or a mom. This must include expecting the worst circumstances to come up during the period of pregnancy, i.e. financial matters.

I don’t speak for all people of my culture and religion. However, I believe that those who are able to get pregnant should be grateful for that. There are zillions out in the world who wants to get pregnant hitherto will never have the chance; and those of you who had the blessings to carry a life are debating over the right to choice?

Abortion is legal and does no harm because the fetus couldn’t feel the pain? That doesn’t make any sense. Does it mean I will not be found guilty for any charges if I overdose somebody or inserting carbon monoxide into your truck when you’re inside it? None of the two causes any pain, too.

Mother Teresa once said there are two victims in every abortion: a dead baby, and a dead conscience.

I know there will be some, in fact many, who will stand against my point of view. I want to make it clear that I am speaking about the silliness of humankind in a typical circumstance. I understand there are many raping cases that had caused pregnancy and the victims may consider abortion. Nevertheless, there are ways besides taking someone’s life away. The babies are innocent. Let the culprits be punished, not the babies. Remember, adoption is one way out. There are many voluntary organizations out there that are ready to lend a helping hand to assist victims dealing with these problems. Abortion only adds up to your wretchedness.

In short, the debate for rights shouldn’t go on any further. It is inside us that there is an innate conscience about the preciosity of life. “I’ve noticed that everyone who is for abortion is already born,” Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States, said. Very well said, Mr. President!
