Theme Song Practices

The theme song sung by the Boys was Awesome! It was totally 2 different feelings at all comparing today's being sung by the Boys with the first time singing it solo when I got the scores. What can I say?

Passionate. Love. Strong. Firm. Secure. Hope. Steadfast.

The day was not smooth at all when I began teaching the Form1 to sing it. *Vomit my lungs out* They felt it was funny and did not really give much cooperation. Big thank you to Henry and Yoong Chze, who both had bear with me throughout the whole session. The Form1 picked it up when the whole Senior section came for the practice. It was that time that things went better.

My favorite time was when the Pre-juniors came for the practice. They were the fastest to pick up the song, full with feelings and emotions. I like their passion. Like Yoong Chze said, they were "sooooooo" cute.

Then the Junior section came in joining the Pre-juniors. They were great too. They sang out the feelings that I was looking for. And they handled the song quite well. Mr. Terence Yap then came and gave his opinions on the way the song should be sung. He also guided me on the conducting styles. Now I know where I am heading to for the song.

Just a few things that give me worries:
-Can the Girls pick up the song quick enough during the 4-day preparation camp?
-Will the Boys be able to sing the parts/harmony for the song correctly?
-Can the Boys and Girls sing together without clashing at the harmony?

And few things I've learnt today:

1. Form1 are to be tamed.
2. Henry Yap is a superb pianist.
3. Yoong Chze has a good sense of "feeling" for songs.
4. They both love taking photos with Juniors/Pre-juniors (Child abuse).
5. Younger ones learn things faster (and better) than the seniors.
6. Inspirations come most of the time when we are in the toilet (by Mr. Terence).

Time needed to be spent with the company, to finish up the song properly.

Talking about time, I am now a no-pay-24hours-on-call-driver. As an NP2OCD, my job is to:

3.30pm: Pick my brothers from school.
5.00pm: Pick my mum from work.
6.00pm: Send my mum to work again.
6.10pm: Send my brothers for dinner at granny's house, twins go for tuition.
7.00pm: Send the remainings back home.
9.30pm: Pick my twin brothers back from tuition.
10.00pm: Pick my mum back from work.

There goes my daily-weekday routine. Weekends are better, 'cause I'll be in BB whole day on Sat, and only drives thro' n flow to Church on Sun.

*Now, you have a reason not to get a driving license*
But taking public transport will be worse.

OK, may be you should have a only-for-personal-use-driving license.
Selfish me >.<"

Thank you for your time spent reading this post. ^^
