Of Slow and Fast

I am bocor -lah. Money is so important to me now: Textbooks demand the most! Since the 1st sem I've been photocopying my texts, it was already burdening at the cost of photostating. Now, since the UIU people came, they want all of us to use the original texts and no compromise for photocopied texts. My goodness, the lowest price that a text would cost is RM 50.00 (for a thin one). I am really speechless. So far, I've only got one ori text: Public Speaking (the one and only one), the others all still photocopied. I wonder what would happen when the college seriously bend all photocopied texts. They should have subsidised for us!

Okay, enough of complains. Well, life gets back onto its fast lane. Assignments and works started to have drown me and stress is knocking on the door. It's time to manage my time well.

The only thing that stays on the slow moving lane is my income. $$ don't come in as fast as my assignments, I wish it would. (Anyone wanna hire me?? =p)

Working with people is not easy. Most of the time we are working with somebody, be it our boss, our classmates, our group members, our siblings, our parents, and even ourselves. It is never easy to work with somebody who is elder than you, i.e. your seniors. I wish I could tell some of my coursemates (Who are elder..) that I am working with them and not working FOR them. Anyway, as God teaches us in 1 Timothy 4:12, "don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.", I always put this in mind that everyone has the ability to lead in different areas. We as the younger generation, can set an example to be followed by the older generations.

Regards.
