Holidays!

Raya holiday is near! A break that comes at the right time. Hopefully that would be the time to finish up all outstanding assignments. Midterm exams is so so near. Study hard, study smart!

Bits and pieces of life in Counseling class:
I don't know why my friends love to pass me their thumbdrives (to transfer lecturer's notes).

I guess they are all lazy bums. Haha..

I ended up arranging them in order. (Mine biggest! However smallest in capacity)

Life is like this, helping others may at times be fun.
^peace^

In the mist of Work

Drown in the mist of projects and assignments: review for psychology research paper, report for interpersonal communication, photos for photography, TalkShow to be organized, speeches for Public Speaking. A little regret of taking 6 subjects due to greed. However, these works have made my life more meaningful. Since 2 weeks ago, I have been coming home late at 6-7pm. At least, I'm now spending less time with DVDs and movies. Instead, I'm working on meeting deadlines.

BB is normal. It's not easy to maintain the number of Boys each week. It is funny that during Fall-in for Band, Kar Hoe, Sai Hong and I often do quick head count and "phew" when we get a 'okay' number. Thank God, continue to sustain us!

Founder's Day is near! This time round it will be hosted by 4th KL. 1st KL is requested to play the Band as well as Colour Party. Anticipating this annual event. NCO-Officer Retreat is around the corner too, hope that we will be able to make a break-through.

Lesson of the Day:
-Very Great minds talk about Ideas
-Great minds talk about Events
-Small minds talk about Others
-Very Small minds talk about Themselves -by Dr. Steven

Blessings.

Of Slow and Fast

I am bocor -lah. Money is so important to me now: Textbooks demand the most! Since the 1st sem I've been photocopying my texts, it was already burdening at the cost of photostating. Now, since the UIU people came, they want all of us to use the original texts and no compromise for photocopied texts. My goodness, the lowest price that a text would cost is RM 50.00 (for a thin one). I am really speechless. So far, I've only got one ori text: Public Speaking (the one and only one), the others all still photocopied. I wonder what would happen when the college seriously bend all photocopied texts. They should have subsidised for us!

Okay, enough of complains. Well, life gets back onto its fast lane. Assignments and works started to have drown me and stress is knocking on the door. It's time to manage my time well.

The only thing that stays on the slow moving lane is my income. $$ don't come in as fast as my assignments, I wish it would. (Anyone wanna hire me?? =p)

Working with people is not easy. Most of the time we are working with somebody, be it our boss, our classmates, our group members, our siblings, our parents, and even ourselves. It is never easy to work with somebody who is elder than you, i.e. your seniors. I wish I could tell some of my coursemates (Who are elder..) that I am working with them and not working FOR them. Anyway, as God teaches us in 1 Timothy 4:12, "don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.", I always put this in mind that everyone has the ability to lead in different areas. We as the younger generation, can set an example to be followed by the older generations.

Regards.

A busy yet joyful weekend

Back! After missing from bloggie for a week..

What a packed weekend I had, after coming home from college (at 9pm), on Sat I had to head to BB Band Camp for the next 3 days 2 nites. Anyway, miracle happened!

Guess where I went..

Yes! look at the crowd at Sunway Convention Centre.

EMERGE KL 2008! Thanks to Kar Hoe, he sent Sai Hong and I there last Sunday.

It was the Finale for this annual conference. It was so Grand! They started off with a fashion competition.

Praise and worship.

Now it turns to yellow lights. Many other talent contest were held too.

Many artists were invited to give their testimonies. One of them is Liew Geng Hong.

And my daddy-mummy's time artist--Petrina Foong Po Po
I must say God is powerful. He brought me to this conference and I felt HIM. It was totally a miracle for me because I never thought I could attend it due to the band camp that was held simultaneously. Somehow, God made it possible for me. Thanks be to the Lord!
Even though there wasn't much time left for home, God still let the comfort fills my heart. After camp breaks, Dad and Mum brought my brothers and I for makan. We then went for shopping after which. It was only a short time but worth spending with family.
I came back to Subang the next day, Tuesday morning. The week seems passing so fast, I'll be home again soon! =)
Nice day everyone!
