Upper Iowa University 4th Commencement Ceremony

In conjuction with the Graduation ceremony this year, SEGi College was also giving out recognition for Academic Excellence Award and the Dean's List. I am grateful enough to be on the Dean's List for Summer 2007-2008. It was a good chance to bring my parents to witness a commencement ceremony.

The followings are the photos that I've taken on that day:

The Hall. Prince Hotel, KL.

The Speech by Dr. Allan Walker, the President of UIU.

Parents and I.

The guys. Err.. and a girl. >.<
Jess, me, Justin, Victor

The girls.
Me, Victor's new GF, Jasmine, Jean, Ilex

Ms Shantini! Our Department's best paper-work-girl.

The whole ceremony was inspiring and awesome. Looking at the smiles of the graduates, I really want to see myself in that gown one day together with my friends. I love the speech given by the Preident and Dr. Steven as the Head of Department. They were all very inspiring. It was also an eye opener for me to witness the whole ceremony as I've never been to any graduation before. I wanted to upload the video for the marching in of the graduates but it failed, I'll try uploading it again next time. In the end, I had also challenged myself, to be chosen as the valedictorian next time during my graduation!

Ms Jaime & I. When is my turn??

A Day - Of Love

It's Christmas season again, a season of love. The Cell group from the Subang Jaya Assembly of God decided to bless others through carolling this time of the year. We visited the Rumah Kanak-kanak Cacat at Taman Megah last Saturday and we had a good time mingling with them!

The practice. Looking into Google for lyrics.

The actual day! We sang, and sang, and sang.

It was a surprise to me that they knew most of the songs!

Even though they are not from the Christian background.

They enjoyed "Felix Navidad" a lot.

Peace! "V-masked"

They love being snapped.

And snap again. Jaime and her new students in SEGi-Taman Megah campus.

This is how he showed his appreciation. I was touched deep down in heart.

Starring Kenrick and Kim Mi.

We went fellowship dinner after that. Torn among the "roses".

Present to you- The SAN 2 (Single Adult Network) cell. Funny people.
This season is all about love. The Gift of love given to mankind - God, is love. So let's celebrate this Christmas by sharing our loves with one another and remember the birth of our Almighty Lord- Jesus Christ.
Peace & Love.

Final Musical

Yeah! It is finally over! It happened to be a blast! The UIU delegates were very satisfied with our performance and our lecturer - Dr. Steven gave us full marks for it. =)

Bravo to you guys!

How's holidays everyone?

This whole week hasn't been holidays for some of us even though exams have ended last Friday. The whole of COMM 105 Public Speaking class has to stay back and rehearse for the final presentation this coming Friday, in conjunction with the visitation by the delegates of the Upper Iowa University. We are coming up with dramas and musicale for this performance and the last 3 days have been the final touch-up. It was really tiring to stay in the theater hall from 9am to 3pm.

I must say that Group 2, Well Done! Throughout the practices and rehearsals, you guys have given tremendous effort and commitment. As the leader, it is really a satisfaction seeing all your commitment. To me, all of you deserve full marks for this project. This group project has also brought us together. Many of us may not have known each other though we are in the same class. It also gave a chance for us to bond this friendship that we had never had. Without this, I may not have known many new (and old) faces. It has also brought my "old" friends back together-those that we came in at the same semester but have not been seeing each other for the past 2 semesters due to different in majors. People like Ah Bu, Ammar, Deepa, May, Michelle and all others, it is really a joyful experience working with you guys.

While waiting for our "real show" this Friday, take this Thursday to rest well and re-charge all our energy. Let's make a full blast this coming day!
