Everyday is Significant

Phew (wipe away sweat)! Finals for a long Sem is a totally different experience. Yeah, started a Psyc paper last Wednesday and 3 more papers by the following week. Stressful? I've found a blogsite that has some suggestions on How to prepare for exams. Hopefully it would be helpful for those who are facing their finals now, yet do not know what to do.

Since the last time I blogged, many things had happened: CF Christmas Bash is over, BNTS is over (I wasn't really involved), State EGM was held and many more little events have taken place in life. Talking about the KL State EGM, I was there present as an observer. It was also the first time for me sitting in the meeting and observing how a State Council meeting would be. Most likely, I won't be able to attend the National EGM due college activities, same goes to the Company Camp too.

Time flies, as I've always knew. Tomorrow will be the last day for this semester-the 3rd, thus marking the last day of my Freshman year! I tried sitting back and reflect on this whole academic year, I realized that God has blessed me tremendously. In any circumstances, God had helped me to overcome and here I am, stepping into Sophomores next year. Indeed I just want to say millions and millions of thank you, to You Lord.

I can't wait for every tomorrow to come! Every single day is Significant.

Best of luck, friends!

BBM and Youth Act 2007

The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia (BBM) is facing a critical time now, definitely.

Youth Act 2007 has made a strong impact on BBM, of course, bad ones. When was I looking at the proposed BB Youth/Briged Putera Belia Constitution, it stunt me that the whole Object of the Boys' Brigade is changed. Are we gonna be just another youth body? Reflect on the real Object of the BB, what is the reason that our Founder - Sir William Alexander Smith has founded the Boys' Brigade?

If we are not the one to care for it, who else? As, LT Wong GL has put it very clearly that, "the destiny of BBM depends on you!"

I was very worried when I was informed about this 'change'. I really hope that BBM will be able to make this breakthrough.

What can we as a part of the BB do?
  1. Please pray that God will be in control of this situation.
  2. Pray that God will grant all attending the EGM (State and National) wisdom and courage to do what’s right for BBM’s future
  3. Attend – or ensure that your company is represented at – the EGM
  4. Spread the news of this far and wide so that all BB Members and Officers are fully aware of the situation and are playing their part in taking action
  5. For Officers aged 20s and 30s, they need to come forward to take up office in the local company, state and national level.
Pray, pray and pray. Pray for the future of this great organization, which has brought us thus far, which has molded us to be who we are today.

Talkshow is over

It turns out to be a blast! The show was crowded with over 200 audiences and it went smoothly from the beginning till the end. Praise the Lord, for if it was not for Him, it would not have been a success.
I thought that it would be a little more relax in this coming week, but it seems not. Schedule is again fully filled and even a small and little gap is taken for all sort of activities (God, I need more time!).
Anyway, the clock will still go round and life would still go on. May not have much time for blogs.
Try my best.

Cheers!

Kanching Waterfall

I met this group of people through my college lecturers. They are from the Subang Jaya Assembly of God. I've been to one of their cell meeting and they invited me for this cell outing.
The waterfall is located near Rawang. About an hour drive from Subang.

Left to right: Jordan (Laura's fiancee), Laura (my lect), Me, Ting, Sandra, Jaime (my lect)
Not in photo: Irene, Jee Jian (church members)

Level 1 Waterfall. Nice view and cooling surrounding. Ms Jaime said that there are 7 levels in total.

Jordan was trying something funny. He said they used to do that in USA. I wonder isn't it painful at the back?

Level 4 waterfall. The one we stopped at. Cos' we have no more strength to climb higher. ^^
After the waterfall, we then went to a place in Rawang, to eat fish. The fish was really delicious! (recommanded) Jordan and Laura said that it was their first time eating steam fish (i was suprised!) cos' in US they normally grill or fry fishes. So we also taught them how to eat it. Haha.
It was indeed a good experience cos' it was the first time I went hiking with non-Malaysian. It was fun seeing them amaze at the jungle.
It's good sometimes to take time out for outdoor activities, to relax and to get rid of the stress over works in life. I like hiking, why? Maybe it's because BB has introduced me to the nature, which I never had the chance to try out since I'm a typical city boy.
Another busy week ahead...
Cheers!

Final Victory

Cheers to Barack Obama! He'll be my boss soon. Hehe..

A Halloween party @ Ms Laura's unit.

This can be said the first time I "celebrated" Halloween in my life. Even though we Christians do not belief in it, but as a gathering among friends, why not?

My lecturer (not really, cos she didnt teach me before) invited all of us to her unit to celebrate Halloween so as to be a farewell party for her fiancee who will be heading back to Kentucky, U.S.

So, we did makan..playing games..and something special--craving the pumpkin!

Very focused..^^

Me and my masterpiece. Haha. Felt funny when I did it.

With the candle on. Nice.

Still, busy with assignments.
